Tameside/SWAP Partnership
We are delighted to announce that Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council has joined the company as our 28th Partner Owner, following approval by our existing partners. Tameside joining SWAP is another important step in our continued development as a leading provider of internal audit and assurance services to the local public sector. Over the past 20 years SWAP has grown steadily from its South West roots into a wider partnership serving authorities and other local public-sector organisations across England and Wales. With a national workforce now exceeding 100 colleagues, we remain focused on our mission of providing Better Assurance, Together.
As a Partner Owner, Tameside will join a collaborative organisation built around shared public-service values, supportive partnership working and a commitment to providing high-quality, trusted assurance services. We are especially pleased to welcome a council whose own ambitions for place and people so clearly reflect the importance of public service improvement and long-term value.
